This is a Fanuc digital AC Spindle Drive. The main components of the Spindle Drive are housed in the anodised metal case to which the Spindle Drive PCB Top Card is fitted to (example of a Fanuc Spindle PCB is the A20B-1001-0120), The top card uses a pair of eproms to match to the model of Fanuc Spindle Motor used, 
All drives have been tested using the correct Spindle Motor.
